What is baptism?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change. When someone is baptised, they are publicly identifying with Jesus in His death and resurrection, declaring that their old life has gone and a new life has begun.
Baptism does not save us, we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a response to that salvation, an act of obedience and worship.
Baptism is for anyone who has personally decided to follow Jesus.
